Initial visit duration: 60-90 minutes
*Thorough assessment of mom and baby.
*History taking, breastfeed assist with before and after feed weight check
*Evaluation and assistance with breastfeed. Recommendation on concerns and instruction on improving breast feeding.
*Written plan of care will be left with mother.
*Comprehensive report can be send to mother’s and babies’ primary care providers as needed.
Follow up visit duration: 45-60 minutes
*Re-evaluation and updating of plan of care developed at prior visit.
Prenatal visit:45- 60 minutes
*Recommended for first time parents or moms who are anticipating or have had breastfeeding challenges with prior babies, breastfeeding after a breast surgery.
*Visit includes: Prenatal assessment with comprehensive history taking, identifying risk factors,breast assessment,individualized recommendation and education to meet concerns of new mom-to-be.
